CF or SD: Is one faster?

When running programs off your CF and SD cards- does one of them run faster? do transfering files go faster?

I would assume cf is quicker. I'm not sure though.

CF loads a little quicker, but all programs run in RAM once they are loaded, so most prorams will run the same no matter where they are stored. The only time a proram will run slower is if the proram has to constantly access a file(s) that is located on a storage card.
