printer for the road

any suggestions about what type of printer i should get for my ax5? i have found one on ebay that is made by sipix. does anyone have one....are they compatible ....will i like it????

This printer uses a thermal (heat) process to print on special (thermal) paper. Thermal paper is slick, shinny-coated paper. The printing can become unreadable over time.

The paper is a non standard size (both roll and sheet).

The printer does work with and Ax, but it does not work the same as your desktop. Only certain things can be printed “directly”, others must be copied.

I bought one because it sounded neat and the price seemed really low but I haven’t used it for anything practical, yet.

Look at www.overstock.com before buying on eBay; the after S&H cost may be less.

There was another thread on this a month or two ago. I don't remember the results but I think there were problems. Use Aximsite's Search utility with the product name to dig up the old thread.
