Stick ons.

Accuracy's never been a big thing for me, so it took me four tries to get it on straight. When I got it installed...wow. I've been using some cheap ones that come with like 20 in a package. The first thing I noticed with the WriteSHIELDS was how clear everything was. Then I started a game to compare the smoothness. It feels so nice. My stylus just glides over the screen. To compare the looks I started a Simpsons episode in PMVP. I can see it now! I'm so glad I got these. I'm going to go play a game. Bye!

Write Shields are more of a static cling than stick on. They do not have a lot of adhesive and work great.

I think PPC Techs is the only company that sells Write Shields.

I've been thoroughly enjoying mine as well. It has a certain texture to it that makes writing on the screen with the stylus feel more like a pencil/paper combo.

Anyone got any tips for cleaning them? Mine has been on for quite some time and could use a little brushing-off.

For dust and stuff, I just use an eyeglasses cleaning cloth. For actual smudges, etc., I use a little bit of an ammonia free laptop screen cleaner, and an eyeglasses cleaning cloth.

I use the WriteShields and found them easy to apply and very protective...

My only complaint is with viewing pictures...I threw a few pics of family on my Ax and the texture of the shield sort of blurs the vision...The pics I use were taken with a digital camera and come across great on my desktop monitor but not so much on the Ax...So I'm guessing it's the shield...

Anybody else have this problem?

By the way...PPC Techs is a great company - After receiving my kit I noticed I never got the actual sheilds so after one simple phone call they had them in the mail that day...Although there was a problem initially they fixed it fast with no questions asked...That's what I call customer service...

Well, you have to realize that the resolution on the Axim is different than a PC moniter. I have a few today themes that look GREAT on my PC moniter, but not so great on my Axim.

Good point...

I just thought the pics would come out at least halfway decent but these aren't even worth keeping on...

Maybe I'll strip off the shield and then view the pics.

I have stuff that looks better on my Axim than on my monitor..

the contrast and quality of the colours is brilliant.. -my monitor aint a crap old 12" black n green either! (came with my PC, though.... and yeah, its a DELL (woo!)

DELL are great, I think! 2 PCs, a laptop, and an Axim. All DELL, all great!
