Biggest memory card sizes?

Hi,

I've read that the X5 has problems with SD cards over 1gb, but what's the biggest CF card I can use?

Cheers

2.0 GB Sandisk SD works in mine, don't use CF memory so can't help you there.

I concur with axzilla, I've read somewhere on this forum about the limits on cf cards. There is no known limit. Although, the SD cards, there is a limit I believe of 2gig, I'm not sure about that. The X5 will recognize a larger card, but will only use up to 2 gig.

I might not have an X5 but Cf has used the same standard for quite some time and you should be able to use cards as big as 16gb. For Sd the standard kind goes up to 4gb but maybe the older versions of Windows Mobile don't support anything past 2gb.

as far as I know CF should not be a problem. i think it will handle anything they can fit into that form factor and still uses FAT32 (max at 32gb i believe) so anything being produced right now should work i think
