Got my eb slipper yesterday, and I am trying it out today. So far, the only problem is that the hole in my lab coat to gain access are to small to easily retrieve my Axim. The clip is nice, though! And the smell...mmmmm! Takes me back to my motorcycle ridin' days...

I got my eb slipper case yesterday....I am IMMENSELY PLEASED!!! The Ax fits perfectly inside, not to loose, not too tight -- removing it to sync/charge via the cradle is not a problem. I especially like the magnet at the tip of the front cover, when closed the whole unit has a very sleek, professional look.

And the optional belt clip is outstanding. No way your baby can fall out --- you have to slide a latch located at the top of the belt clip in order to remove it. That's not a problem either, just turn the Ax forward 90 degrees and slide it forward with your thumb and it pops right out into your hand. It shouldn't be a problem for lefties, just slide the latch backward.

I ordered it on the net last Saturday 1/25, got it Thursday 1/30. That's what I call good service.

And the aroma of the genuine leather is borderline orgasmic.

Mike

Ditto's on the EB case. I wonder if most folks remove the Axim from the case to use the cradle, or use the data and power cables leaving the Axim in the case?

Mine arrived on Mon, along with the travel charger kit. I use the cradle to charge & synch at work during the day and the cable from the travel kit to charge & synch via a USB port at home. I'm very pleased with the EB slipper too. I got mine without the clip because I prefer carrying the Ax in my shirt pocket. It still fits, even with the case. I can get it out pretty easily, but it's snug enough to make it difficult for it to fall out when I bend over.

Ok maybe I missed it but what EB slipper fits the Axim? I can't find one listed for the Dell. Looks and sounds like a nice case.

Hey Fix...Nice avatar! I personally prefer to remove the Ax from the slipper case and sync/charge via the cradle since removing and replacing it is so easy.

I also got the mobile charging system for those rare instances I may be away from home.

Thanks Mike. It's my 1949 Harley WL 45. (Took me two years to restore it). Look for it featured in an upcoming issue of American Iron. Looks like your ride is also a Harley.

Thanks to you, I to am now removing the Axim from the EB case and using the really cool Dell cradle. I was plugging both the data cable and the power cable in each morning, but you are right about it being easy to remove the Axim from the case.

Got my EB case also! Belt clip is nice and secure.

Only problem is having to remove it to place in the cradle. I am leary of removing the case for every sync because the scroll pin on the left side is moved up and down; even though removing the Axim is easy. This may cause some type of failure in the future.

I unplug the power cable from the cradle and use it to recharge. I then use my sync cable that I carry to sync at work.
When I ordered the Axim, I also got the charger and sync cable for the times I am on the road.

What would be nice if one of the accessory manufactors would provide a male to female cable. That way, the Axim charger cradle could be used with the EB case and others.

Even nicer would be a cradle that adjusts to a particular case. However, this type of design may be a little pricey.
