Is there a way to password protect an SD card in the Axim X5?
Hi!

I was wondering if anyone might know of a way to password protect the SD card in an Axim X5.

While my Axim is protected and can't be accessed without a password, the SD card sitting inside of it is not, and it is imperative that I keep that information private, too.

I am a newbie, and so any help would mean so very much to me!

Here are a couple of choices:

Sentry CE - file encryption for Pocket PC

Pocket PC encryption with SecuBox encryption software

Hi Julie!

Thank you very much. Have you used either of these? Would you recommend one over the other?

Could you explain how they work -- to a newbie? My preference is to always "work" off of the SD card, and have all of my files there (and none on the Axim itself). Is that doable with these products?

Do you think a newbie like me will be able to figure them out?

Thank you so very much!
