Looking for a good Wifi card for my X5. I'm in a area that has lots of connections, and want to be able to use my PDA to post my work from the PDA to my online data base. I've had trouble in the past with a CF card, but I think I just got a dead card. It would only stay on for like a second, and then my PDA could not find it.

You will need to stick with a CF wifi card as the X5 is not compatible to use wifi (or other hwardware periferals) in the SD slot (X5 is not SDIO capable). The SD slot in the axim X5 can only be used for memory/programs.

I use an Ambicom WiFi CF (WL1000-CF I believe) card on mine. works great.

Yeah...I know the SD slot is a mem only slot. I'll have to give that card a try.

I use the same card(Ambicom WiFi CF WL1000-CF), works great for me in my X5. Now if I could get MultiIE or Opera to work smoothly I'd be a little more happy. :)
