Source for Original Dell Accessories

I have both a Dell Axim X5 and an X51v. Gave the X5 to my wife when I got the X51v :) Recently the power supply for her X5 stopped working. Since the X5 and X51v use the same power, I used the one working unit for both Axims. Upon a search, I found that Dell no longer sells the power supplies! Many of the available power supplies are of questionable quality--but here's what I found. PDASmart.com sells the Dell-branded power supply (model ADP-13CB) for $ 16.00. "AX22 Wall Charger for All Axim models" Also ordered a spare stylus for the X5. "AX1x3 Axim X5 Stylus" for $ 6.00. Both arrived today. They are both original Dell products! PDASmart.com is located in Cedar Park, Texas. They are just up the road from Dell--Round Rock, so they must be getting the discontinued Dell accessories. If anybody is looking for original Dell products, take a look at PDASmart.com.

They're O.K. but a bit pricey. Their repairs are higher than PPCTechs and PDAPreferred has better prices on most accessories.

Lost postcount? That's strange. Never heard of that before. :(

I have recently moved to a new job and my Axim stayed in the box for a few months. The battery doesn't charge now. All data is gone. That is backed up. Did the battery die due to lack of use? Any thoughts?

Main battery and backup battery discharged. The battery will discharge some even when not in use, and should be regularly charged, allowing the battery to go flat too often or not charging often enough will impact battery longevity.. I imagine the main battery probably went dead after a week or so, the backup battery is supposed to last maybe 30 minutes when the main battery is dead.

Hopefully you have your backup on a sd/cf card or on your computer.
