I recently purchased a network card Symbol or Motorola but when I insert it the PDA doesnt recognize it, nor does the power light on the card come on. I have already installed the software but was wondering if I have to enable the port for the card and if so how do i do it. I'd appreciate any help thanks

Are you using the latest drivers (i.e., software) available for your operating system? Have you tried a soft reset?

when i tried the soft reset wicui.exe error message appeared. cannot find wicui or one of its components. make sure the path and file name are correct. i called the tech support to make sure i got the correct drivers

well I was told to Symbol Spectrum 24 DS wireless network adapter driver 3.9.2-67, I have Pocket PC CE3.0 , the only other driver available is Windows Driver 3.9.2-67 for Windows CE 3.0

Hmm, well the release notes say its for the Pocket PC 03 I have 02 guess that's why its not working, anyway I can upgrade to PPC 03?

well i got it to work found 2002 drivers and now just have to get to a wifi hotspot and try it out thanks for the help

Glad you got it working!!! If you're in the US and near Panera Bread, I believe they offer free wifi.
