Those of you who are photography enthusiasts will recognize the name LowePro. They make some of the most bomb-proof gear in the world. I have 3 of their photography packs and I am extremely satisfied with them. I'm planning on getting one of two models listed below. Both are made of heavy-duty cordura and both have belt loops.

The larger of the two (this one will hold your Ax, plus a few accessories; and is nicely padded):

The smaller of the two (not sure about the dimensions of this one with an Ax, less padded, but a lot lower profile):

I second the appreciation for LowePro's quality. I have 2 of their camera bags...very will designed and constructed.

Ritz Camera has them.

The 120 is $19.99
The 100 is $9.99

I'll also support the comments on the Lowepro cases. I've had them for my camaras for quite a while. Rugged and functional.

Only potential downside for a PDA is that you have to remove the PDA to use it (which I prefer to do anyway - can't run the WiFi or GPS CF cards while the Axim is in the Sena, etc.).

Lowepro is real good stuff. They are owned by LoweAlpine, which is a backpacking and climbing company. I have several of their backpacks and they are great. Pretty reasonably priced as well.

I'm using the D-Res 100 and I got it at a local store for $10 Canadian (which is about $6 or $7 US) and it works perfectly.

It has a velcro belt attachment so that you can carry it around without having to store it in your pocket. It stays fairly well hidden, too, which is nice and the axim fits in perfectly.

It has a space, as seen from the picture, for a few small cards and a small pen (note SMALL, regular size will not fit, it'll be too long) and if you can get it for the prices listed here, you'll be really happy.

One thing, though, is that the case is a bit wider and there is some spare room if you're not using the extended battery. But for a generic case, it works wonderfully if you can find it!

Another case that works is the D-Res 8. The width and height are perfect, and there's a pocket in the back for a memory card. Since it's deep enough to hold my Canon S30, it can hold the Axim, my spare battery, and headphones all at once. Alternatively, I managed to fit in the Axim and the huge plastic case that my Linksys WCF12 Wifi card came with.

If you like to carry credit cards in your case, then they'll fit in the memory card pocket. However, I'd prefer to buy a cheap billfold that fits in the case, so that I don't have to fumble around to get at the credit card.

Only thing I wish is that it had a more secure beltloop. The larger LowePro beltcases have a double-Velcro loop; you slip it over your belt, attach the velcro, and then swing up a second piece from the bottom. It's extremely secure (but not quick to remove).

Still, I think I'll have to check out the D-Res 100. I've got to have something for my camera...
