Does anyone have any pictures of their Axim with the Pocket Solutions Cover-up on their device? If so, would you mind posting them? I can't seem to find any pictures of the cover on an Axim.

Yeah, I've seen that one. It would be nice to see some pictures that a user has taken. Pictures from a number of different angles would be great.

Looks like you attach the cover with adhesive on the back. If you have an inserted wi-fi card, you'd have to pull it out before you flip the cover over. Might be a pain in the neck.

Cool thanks! So how do you like the cover? Do the buttons get pressed accidentally? I've read some posts where people were having that problem.
And how's the quality of the cover? Do you think it'll last long?

The Cover
Unlike others, I like the cover. Gives me access to the headphone jack and keeps the buttons from being pressed accidently in my pocket. I don't have to remove it to sync or charge. I have no problem with it snaging on my pocket and the cover fits snug with no movement. It does, however, keep the rubber "feet" on the back from touching a table top so if you are not holding it, it will slide around. I hold it when I'm using it so that doesn't bother me.
My only complaint is that it is a little pricey considering all it is, is a piece of metal and a hinge and they sell the same thing for other models at $19. I emailed pocketsolutions saying so (not like the Axim takes more materials than the others) and they sent a cupon code for a free belt clip so I decided to buy.

I, on the other hand, can't wait to put the thing up on ebay or even pitch the thing in the trash compactor/garbage disposal (if it would fit).
My number one complaint: the pad on the inside of the case lays against the screen leaving lint and most of all, it presses down and cmakes changes. This afternoon I was on the treadmill listining to MP3s with the cover closed and it pressed the screen so as to delete most files off my playlist. The other day it completely changed my owner info when my Ax turned on to remind me of an appointment. Also you cannot open/close the cover with a set of headphones in the jack.
Secondly was the price, but not only that; Pocket Solutions did not show conclusive pictures of how the cover actually worked. See attached.
I am certainly happy for those of you who find it usefull. For those of you who are unsure it is important you hear an alternate view.

I had the same problem with the rubber pad on the inside of the cover pressing up against the screen. Not only was it terribly annoying when listening to music, it also would snooze or dismiss my reminders, often without my knowledge! What a pain!
But I fixed that problem just this morning.
The solution? Simple. Peel off the black rubber pad. It comes off quite cleanly, leaving no glue residue or anything.
Now that I no longer have the pad pressing the screen, it's perfect! It still has the little rubber feet at the bottom to keep the Axim's buttons from being pressed. And it still provides great protection for the screen. It just doesn't touch it.
I have yet to see any other case that rivals the Cover-Up's form factor. It is a tad pricy, I suppose. Especially considering I had to remove a piece of it to stop it from messing with the screen. But the price isn't outrageous. And it sure looks good on the Axim.

I just got this and like it for the most part. Question - since you removed the black pad, have you thought about putting something along the sides to make it a little stronger? I was considering removing the pad, but I thought it would be a good idea to add more feet along the sides so it doesn't bend in the middle as easily.
It actually seems to be that doing that would be more logical than having it rest against the screen itself. That way you don't have to worry about a screen protector (although I use one anyway), and if it does take a hit, some force will get transferred through the foam to the screen.

I thought about it, but the cover seems plenty strong enough to me just as it is. I haven't found it to bend that easily. And given that the cover itself is wider than the screen area, and given how inset the screen is, it would take quite a bit of force to even touch the screen, let alone damage it, with the cover down.
I haven't thrown out the rubber pad yet, in case I decide to cut it up and make extra "feet" somewhere. But so far, I don't see the need to.

Great! I'll rip that sucker off and give it a try. Thanks for the tip.
