I've been looking at the leather flip covers lately and I am concerned about how protective they really are. I like the idea of being able to carry extra cards and such, I like the snug form factor, I like the ability to use the device without removing it from a case (ie no pouches), and I like the grip that leather gives. However, I'm concerned about those SD/CF/credit cards scratching the screen (or even the screen protector) and how well leather would soften a blow (door frame, desk edge, etc). Are these concerns valid or am I being paranoid? I realize that when Vaja releases a case specific to the Axim I could have it made without card slots and with extra padding if these are valid concerns. Unfortunately they haven't been released yet... What do you think?

For sena, they have a shatter-proof acrylic mirror that is placed at the front for added protection. You can remove that to put CC and such in there.

I think eb-cases has some sort of added protection at the front too (ppl who actually owns this please verify)

That's good to know. Could the cards inside the case potentially scratch the screen?
