Thoughts on extended battery?

Any thoughts on the Mugen or Dell extended batteries?
If you've owned one, can you share your thoughts? I am sure
that the additional power is handy but it is hard to get
past the form factor.

I love my Mugen 3800, and the added weight and thickness suits my big, beefy hands to a T!

I bought it because I bought a FlyCam w/Flash (one power hungry little accessory)..and since I've had the 3800, I'm finding it pretty difficult to get it below 75%, taking movies & pix. The standard battery would get below 40% in about 20 minutes.

I have both the Mugen extended battery and the Dell. I love them both. I use one while the other is chargine and then just switch them. The added size may seem weird at first, but I have definitely gotten used to it, and the extra power is well worth it. If I do not use it extensively, or if I use it more for reading than playing games, sometimes I can go almost a week without charging.

I can't imagine living without my extended battery. I had the Dell, then sold it to get the Mugen. It took about month to finally get it, and it was horrible living without it.

I recently got the Mugen through the after5pm sale, and it is great. I wouldn't say I'm a really heavy user, but it sure is nice to not have to worry about battery capacity -- and with the Mugen, you don't!

Big Smile I have the Dell...

I use it everyday, the added size does not even register with me. I can go days without recharging, the only reason to use the one that came with the Axim is if I go on vacation I bring BOTH!!

Use a belt holster and fits in it without any problem!

Doesn't the extended battery cause problems with cases? I
ideally would like to get a hard case, and I'm assuming that
would be out of the question. Which cases work well with
Dell/Mugen's extended batteries?

The cases that work with my extended battery are the Otterbox, the Piel Frama for extra capacity battery, and the DSI.

What about Sena case? Will it fit with the extended battery from Mugen? Anyone...?

The Sena case will work with the 2000 battery from Mugen, but not the 3800.

My Dell extended battery gets my vote - I'm not an excessively high user of power - but I never worry about charging and it will run & run. I'm still using the zipped leather case from dell and it fit's comfortably with the extended battery.

Here's the Aximsite Review that I did for both the Mugen Power 2000mAh and 3800mAh batteries. I was definately impressed with both of them.
