CF or SD expansion card with 2 slots?
Is there a CF expansion card with 2 CF slots, so you can make 2 slots out of 1? Is there such a thing for SD?

No, such a device does not exist......at least not at the present time.

EDIT: I'll add that there are 4-in-1 memory readers that will plug into a CF slot. These accept CF, SD, MMC, and MemoryStick cards. However, as far as I know, it can only read/write to one card at a time. There is an old Aximsite review of one of these devices, written by Steve Henderson, that is posted in the Staff Reviews section: Click Here For Review

I was hoping to plug a GPS into 1 slot and have the other left for memory. Since my GPS can only go into the CF slot. The SD slot by itself is limited with 256MB and 512MB is REALLY expensive.

But if they would have an expander for memory for the SD slot, that would be cool, because then I can shove all my maps onto different cards and even if I can't access them at the same time, that's ok, because I only need to access one at a time. I just want to have them all available.
Thanks.

On the other hand, here is a thought.
If there would be an adapter just like the one on the review, but it would also be able to read a CF card, then I can stick the GPS into the CF card and have another slot for some other memory. Does that exist?

None of the "4-in-1" (or similar) card readers will work with accessories/peripherals. They will just simply read memory cards. Sorry for the disappointment, but it sounds like you'll just need to pick up a couple of SD cards (if you don't want to shell out for a 512MB)....and just swap them out when you need new maps.

I personally use my GPS with only a 256MB SD card. I just load the maps that I'll need for each trip onto it, which so far (knock on wood) hasn't exceeded the 256MB.
