Organizer Case for Everything

I am amassing quite a collection of memory cards and accesories for my X5, and all of this stuff is becoming hard to organize. I am using a couple of Axim cases that I tried but didn't like to store some of this, but it seems that when I am out and need something, I don't have it.

I have seen the Targus notebook size organizer, but this is not what I'm looking for. I want something fairly compact to keep the Axim and accessories in. Levenger has a so-called portable desk drawer, but it isn't specifically made for hand-held computers.

Any thoughts?

There's a GBA metal case that will hold the axim and some accessories all in one case and it sells for $9.99.

There's a thread here in the forums that talk about this case. I hope this helps in your decision.

I can't find the thread. I've been looking and dont see anything - I just read something about it too.

I had this problem too... I have WAAAY too much axim related stuff and I found that the RoadWired Pod works pretty good for me. Has TONS of pockets and I can fit my Ax, Archos JBMM, Fold out keyboard, thumboard, 3 stylii, 5 memory cards a CF modem, CF Lan,CF GPS screenprotectors, Digital Camera addons for the JBMM and various sync cables and other things... I know I am forgetting something but it works well even if it does look a little weird ( in a man purse sorta way ) :) Ballistic Nylon, weather proof and worth every penny! http://www.roadwired.com .

Here is the post

My son has one of these cases for his Gameboy Advance SP. It has an aluminum hard shell and rigid foam padding on the inside. The top of the Axim fits perfectly in the Gameboy area, and the foam can be trimmed in the game storage area to fit the rest of the AXIM. (The axim being longer than a folded SP)

You can use this to throw your axim in your backback without worrying about damage.... and dirt cheap!

I don't believe there will be enough room for accessories, though.

I use this case from Lands' End (small purple). I keep my Axim in the SmarterCase and it fits in here with all the accessories.

I like the Road Wired Pod too...I almost got it at one time but decided against it as it is kinda big for my needs. Plus, it would have meant taking it with me to work....they already think I border line geekism as it is....that case would have only sealed it (but it is a cool case) :)

That would be a great travel case. What size do you have.

You may want to take a look at the Road Warrior PDA Pak.

A cheap alternative is to pick up a camera case and use that. With all the various sizes and configurations you're sure to find one that fits your needs. Just make sure you have some sort of screen protection as the cases aren't made specifically for pda's.

Wow. Thanks for all the suggestions. I will start checking them out today. I hadn't thought of the camera bag, but that's a good idea. The case I have now is small--about the size of a paperback book. It won't even fit all the cards, modems, and the keyboard. I have the Axim in a small flip case. If I just want the Axim, I can take the little flip case. It fits one memory card and my driver's license. A larger case, that would fit the Axim in the flip case with the accessories, which I could also fit in my backpack, (along with diapers, a book or two, sippy cups, cell phone, toy cars or dinosaurs, etc.) would be ideal. Having everything in one central location at home would make life easier, too. Thanks again for the ideas.

Hmmm. I think I like the Pod, but I'm going to look at some camera cases, too.
