Dust on adhesive side of screen protector

I bought 3 WriteSHIELDs only 2 months ago.

1 - I sliced up a bit and placed it on my little brothers GBA SP.

2 - Got scratched

3 - Has dust on adhesive side of the WriteSHIELD (using now)

So how do u remove the dust. This is my last screen protector, im amazed at how quickly i used them, it costed $30+ !

My axim looks pretty horrible with the dust, when its on u cant really notice it but when its off, you can see all the dust underneath. I tried washing it but by the time the protector dries, all the dust is back there again.

Is there some sort of solution I need to dip it in? After its wet, how do I dry the adhesive side? Using a cloth, tissue or other material will get peices of string and thread on the surface which is even worse :(

Please help !

Try scotch tape lightly touched to the screen protector and also to the ax screen. When the humidity is low, dust is a real problem

thanks tonyt, that worked really well. No dust visible now :D Thanks !

I have another problem though. Is it possible to remove the scratch on the other screen protector, its about one inch long in the middle.

:D Sorry, had to laugh. Aren't you glad that it wasn't your Ax screen that got scratched?

I know writeSHIELDs are good screen protectors, but if price is a concern, go with some cheaper ones. You get more of them and you don't have to pay as much.

Screen Protectors...

I am very new to having a PPC (1 week) and I didn't order any from Dell when I bought my Axim X3, now I wish I had... do they come in generic packs? Do I have to order from Dell?

Are they easy to use?

Dumb questions I know... lol

Screen protectors generally come in packs of 3 or more. The major ones you can get are WriteSHIELDs, BoxWave Cleartouch and Brando.

They are simple to apply, they are just thin sheets of plastic. Just make sure you dont get dust and other material on the adhesive side because they are a pain to remove. Generally you apply them straight from the pack.

You dont need to order from dell, PPCtechs (writeshields) and the others make screen protectors for axims, so they are probably your best choices if you want a good quality screen protector. I am currently using a WriteSHIELD.

But before you buy in the big bucks (they are quite expensive) try making one of your own and see how it works. Get some 3M Transparency Film, make a template of the screen size of an axim and print it. Cut it out and put it on the screen, it wont move around. Someone here made screen protector templates for the axims, i've forgotten who though.

Group,

As you mentioned, there are numerous screen protectors. I would truly have to recommend that you pick a writeshield, a brando, or a cleartouch.

Even though I represent BoxWave, I have to say that these three companies will give you something you won't be disappointed with.

Also, a key review on Brighthand that will help you see the huge discrepancies in screen protector quality.
