System Format of CF Card?
This hasn' happened lately, but it started up in the last 3 days, and every morning, when I got to turn on my Axim, I got a popup message asking if I would like the system to format the CF card to make it usable. I've already formatted it and am using it. after a soft reset, the message is gone, and you can then explore the folder of the CF Card. Why is this happening? How can I get rid of the darn thing cuz it is really startin to tick me off.

If you have a card reader on your PC, you might want to copy everything from the card to your PC, reformat the card, then copy everything back to the card.
Not too sure this will help, but you would be formatting the card, which is what your PPC is complaining about.
What brand and size is your card? You might want to search those to see if others have similar problems.

It's a Lexar Media 256k

I looked in the memory cards site in the links list, but nothing there...

I don’t know how to get rid of it, but this is one of the early symptoms with an sd card when it is going to fail. I’m not sure how it relates to a CF but if you keep valuable data on the card, I’d back it up frequently.
