I'm about to upgrade from an old HP Jornada 548 to an Axim 400 (my unit is supposed to ship tomorrow, ordered 2/9). I have the HP CF digital camera and was wondering if there's any way to use it with the Axim.

Back a couple months ago, when the thought of buying an Axim was very hypothetical, I noticed a discussion thread somewhere on this subject that mentioned some piece of freeware (from Microsoft, IIRC) that had a PPC 2002 driver for the HP digicam. However, I don't remember where to find the software, and I think there was some (unresolved?) discussion about whether the software in question could actually be used to take pictures or not -- I think the primary use was for low-bitrate streaming video or some such.

Can anybody shed any light on this? Is there any software around that would actually let me take pictures on the Axim with the HP compact flash digital camera?
