Just got a Dell Axim with xscale 400MHZ, when ordering we also bought a True Mobile 1180 WLan CompactFlash card 2.4 GHz

We have a networking card in the Host Linkeys 10/100 Ethernet that is hooked up to a (new tonight) Wireless Access Pint Router with 4 port switch.. which is 2.4 GHZ ( Model NO. BEFW11s4)


We are on MSN dialup. and running Xp home on the Host comptuer.

on the Axim, I can go to start, Programs, click on "Dell client" Client says "Ready" and see a green arrow looking item going from one to the other.
Network is are name..
Connection Excellent
Ap Prism I
So I take it is working..

If I have the Axim docked, it will view the internet, but as soon as I take it off and try I get this message "the page you are looking for cannot be found"

I have no clue about networking, can anyone here give me the correct steps to get this working correctly?

I'm not sure if i can be of too much help. I can say that I have the true mobile and had no problems (I have the same Linksys too).
Did you install the CF Wireless driver that's on the true mobile install CD?
I forgot to do that at first, then had to rummage throught the box the card was packed in to find it.
I followed those directions, as well as the "getting connected" directions in the manual, and all is well.

yes the Cd has been installed, which is why I see the dell tm Wlan Card on the Axim screen.
but thanks for the tip anyhow :D
