The perfect case
I'd been using a Palm Vx for a couple of years before I moved to the PocketPC world. I just loved the small form factor of the Vx and the aluminum case that I bought for it because I like to put my PDA in my pocket.
So, I've been looking for a good case for my Axim that doesn't make it any bulkier and allows me to keep it in my pocket.
I actually found TWO cases that do the job.
First, my old HP17B calculator that I had lying around after business school had a pseudo leather slip case. The Axim actually fits in there, abeit a little tight. It stretches some after a while but it does the job.
The one I like the best, though, is the case that comes with the Toshiba e740 Pocket PC (I had that before the Axim). This case is perfect as the Axim slides in snugly. The case has a hard insert that protects the screen and is made of leather so it will last.
I don't know, however, how you can get one of these cases. It's original equipment for the e740. You may be able to contact Toshiba and see if you can purchase it.
I recommend this case highly as it doesn't add much bulk and allows me to comfortably keep the Axim in my pocket.
