pocket solution mess

I ordered the cover, on Feb.08 or something, I havent recieved any info on the status, so i decided to cancel, it has been 4 days and no confirmation on my cancellation. They do not respond to any email i send. This is Horrible. Im deciding to go with a Sena Case. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH POCKET SOLUTIONS..bad customer service....

I have Purchased and recieved the AC/DC/USB Sync charger from them. (Pocket Solutions) I recieved a great value for the price I paid and am Satisfied with my purchase. It was delivered with in two-three weeks of order. If you want communication...get a date. If Pocket Solutions has what you want buy it.

I sell Machine tools and have nothing to do with Pocket Solutions or any other PDA equipment supplier.

I never liked their case/cover much. I felt like it was expensive for a stamped/edged metal with one bend and a hinge.

I've ordered from Pocket Solutions on two different occasions. Once for a memory card, and I also bought a Cover-Up for my Axim.

I found their service to be very courteous, and their shipping times to be perfectly acceptable.

The only complaint I had is that they don't send out any sort of automatic notification when your order ships. You need to e-mail their customer support and they'll give you a status, usually within an hour or two.

However, Pocket Solutions is a small company that hasn't been in business for a long time. They don't have all of the infrastructure that a larger business like Amazon or Buy.com has, so expecting them to behave like one of those companies is probably unrealistic.

Whether the Cover-Up is a good solution for your case needs is a different subject, but I believe that you'll be satisfied with their service if you give them a chance and practice a little patience...

Judging from my interactions with them, I think the people who work there seem to be very dedicated to the PDA community and I believe that they do try hard to satsify their customers.

I agree with the comment about not sending notification. I had to e-mail them to find out what was going on with my order. I'm simply used to getting an e-mail when my order has shipped, including the tracking number if applicable.

But the bottom line was my order arrived within three days, so to this point, I have no complaint.

Pocket Solutions Free Software

I can not speak regarding ordering anything from them but I did get a couple of nice free downloads from them and there is a link that took me to another site that had a free download so to that aspect I am pleased. The software I downloaded was :
Magic Button (Which is pretty nice to use to close (really close) programes and shut down the Axim.
EzyZip, Pocket counter which is a nice simple stop watch ( I have never been happy with the digital ones on the watchm, hard to set up and stop adn go) I like this becasue I am always having to time my daughters presentations and it is soooooooooo simple even I can get it to work) and pocket screen capture.
So in that aspect I cannto complain. Free, they work fine, easy to uninstall if I find soemthing better (yes I did try to uninstall and was a piece of cake (chocklet with nuts).
I have been on this board a while and have nto clicked on the link, guess I have been bombarded with so many web adds taht I jsut automaticly ignore a flashing or moving add. But I want to help support the board so I clicked.

looks very clear to me!!

i am starting to think all the stores that sells accesoires for dell have had the order from dell to get the baddest customer service in the world, so dell itself doesn't come out to bad!!

really, whats up with the world, can't you get a confirmation nowadays!!!!

lets hope for some inprovement :rolling:
