Guess what! What did I find in my mailbox today:Sena Axim case. It is beautiful :love: . After all silly conversations about them being 2 days late, I realized it did worth the wait.

My sena case is black without clip. When I ordered they did not have those other colors. But I am still happy. The Axim fits perfectly. All the holes are aligned perfectly (well the speaker hole is a little off but not a biggie).

At first it was a little snug. You have to fiddle a little bit to align. But after several ins and outs it gets perfect.

This case is very slim. After using the case that comes with my axim, this was a woww. I was able to put my axim with Sena case into that Dell case . The leather is thin and it makes the case really slim. Almost no padding on the cover. The mirror that comes with it gives good protection but I myself chose to take it out and place my credit cards. The good thing is that the credit cards do not touch the screen. I put one extra SD card into the little pockets. There are two. I was concerned the SD card would scratch the screen but it doesn't look like so because the pockets are big enough to completely cover the cards.

I am not planning to put anyting to the money pocket. It may make the case bigger.

The overall quality, stitching, etc.. is very good. It really passed my expectations. I am happy that I made a very good deal by taking the pre-order discount. I would even buy it for $10 more after seeing it.


My Axim looks totally different now. I give Sena case a 10 out of 10 :D .

I would take pictures for you guys but it is too much work for me. I leave it to one of you guys.

My confirmation e-mail says January 22. I realized that they are shipping from Southern California. That's where I live.

dude, post some pics. i wanna see that bad boy. i emailed sena and asked them to put up pics of the left, right and back of they case. they said they would post them, but to no avail.

Great to hear a positive review.
How does it look for use with a extended battery?
Are the control easily accessable (CF card, earphone jack, etc...?)
It has to be taken out off the case to cradle sync, correct?

I ordered my Sena Case and got confirmation 2/19...I went with 2 day shipping.....I'm wanting the case yesterday, but I haven't got it yet...Sena claims they'd email when it was shipped...has that been the 'case' with others...or did it just show up?

Can the cover fold all the way back? If so, is it comfortable holding the Axim this way? I'm concerned about the cover flapping around if it doesn't fold all the way back.

Isn't as nice as EB case I have already. Leather not as nice, don't like snap closure, not as much padding over screen. It's bulkier than the EB slipper.

I have the blue/black one.

I was told that mine would ship on March 1st. Today is the 3rd, adn no e-mail or sena case. Can't wait!

I came home to find my new case waiting in the mailbox. It os every thing they promised. The case is well constructed and attractive. I got the belt clip model. I kinda wished thay made a belt loop model as I have had clips pull off my belt in the past. I waited to buy a case until I found one that I thought would be well built and well thought out. I found it!!

would you be able to post some pics of both? i.e. side pics and stuff so we can see the difference in thickness? I'm sure that would help those who are still trying to decide (i've got my sena on order but i'd love to see some comparison shots)
