dell keyboard not working...

for some reason, my keyboard from dell (the plug in one) doesnt seem to work.. i've installed the drivers several times over, uninstallingand resetting each time to ensure, and still, it doesnt read a single keystroke. any idea what might be wrong? after getting my shipment delayed for so long cause of the keyboard.. i would hate to have this thing not work not that i have it... *SIGH*

Try this Tap start, tap programs, Tap foldable Key boards, tap enable keyboard. If that dont work it must be a dud call Dell and convince them that you deserve a replacement immediately since you already waited 3 weeks for the dud + reimbursement for your return shipping costs. O f course be KIND and patient toward them they will be more inclined to help you never be percieved as hot headed toward them.

When you run it and check "Enable Keyboard," tap in the "Test here:" box and type a few characters. If you don't see text appearing, the keyboard is probably broken.
