Any screen protectors then the dell one's?
I bought the dell Screen protectors and just not very happy with it. When I use it, it feels kind of puffy.... Trying to find a better screen protector... Any recommendations?

I bought the one sold through through www.thepocketsolution.com (link from this site) their OK, had a little trouble. Overall I am very happy. One side has to be peeled off (this goes toword the screen). Make sure you buy some screen cleaning solution before you apply the screen protectors. Paul C.

I returned the Dell screen protectors and bought a Brando. It works great. Easy to install, no bubbles, anti-glare, no blurring, better stylus accuracy.

The dell ones suck a bit... not very clear and the holes in the protector blur the screen even more...
even my homemade transparant sheet protectors give better visibility.. they tend to skid around though
So I'm _not_ happy with the dell's...

Brando is the way to go....get em at ExecutivePDA....free shipping- inexpensive....I ordered mine, and they were back ordered, but I wasn't told that, so I called them the next day, they said they would overnight my screen protector to me when it came in at no extra charge....good company....my hats off to Executive PDA!

Ordered the Belkin protectors from the Dell website, very pleased with them, great quality.....have referred several people to buy them (which they have). Also like the 'Bleed thru' thing they have going on. It is almost impossible to screw up when installing them, and even if you do have some air pockets they seem to just bleed through to leave the protector perfectly flat! Well worth the price!

Toddack....
Agree mate - also got some of the Dell protectors and not at all happy with them. Dunno about yours but they have 'welded' two pieces of plastic together leaving a thicker band across the middle. Make viewing the middle of the screen very odd. Nor do they stay in place very well. Any suggestions for a clearer protector from a UK supplier? Thanx

It sounds like you still have the backing sheets attached to the back of the protector. they should be removed for things to work right. too bad Dell didn't bother to include any installation instructions.

I read all of the reviews and Brando seems like the way to go, but shipping at executivepda may not be free right now. When I wanted to buy one their shipping had gone up to $7. I e-mailed them about it and their excuse was so they could assign a tracking number. They said they might do the free shipping promotion at some time in the future. I couldn't accept the thought of $7 shipping for a $9 item, and I couldn't bear the thought of sending my credit card to the far east to order direct from the manufacturer so right no I am without protection myself.
I do intend to get one someday when it is more practical.

Lurker....
Doh! As Homer would say...I had no sooner posted the thread slamming the Axim protectors that I started picking at them. Low and behold my 'complaint' peeled away and revealed a pretty reasonable protector. Feel a right wally but there you go - some instructions would have been useful. They still slide about alot though. Thanks for the reply mate.

Got mine from Ebay. 15 for $10. That was 4 months ago so don't know if the price is still that. I go thru about 1 a month.
