New Cases Found

I came across this website. The cases do look nice especially the SLIP SPORT model. The WRIST SPORT LIGHT looks really interesting and I guess may even be quite useful to pharmacists or physician looking up medical references often or someone who really needs quick and constant access to their PDA during their workday. I coudnt imagine anyone actually walking down the street with one of these thinking it was fashionable. Hmm...maybe it is fashionable is a Scott-e vest type of way. These cases do not fit my needs but maybe some fellow aximsite members may find these to be just what they need. I already preordered the innopocket case.

The url is :
http://www.flipoutpda.com/

Edited to add a quick note to say I titled this thread "New Cases Found" because I have been through several PDA's last year and I have done quite alot of accessory shopping and this is the first time I have come across this case manufacturer.

Interesting

Nice find. For my daily use, the Exocet One case may just the case I need.

We'll have to look into this case more.

Thx.

Hey, it looks like that's a different URL for the company I asked about a few threads back, Infusion Threads.

http://www.aximsite.com/boards/showt...&threadid=5326

I scanned around and noted on a UK Web site that they released their product line in December. Surprised no one found them before now.

Exactly what I wanted.

Thank you. The wrist sport is exactly what I was looking for. As a Maint. Supervisor I use my Axim all night long. Logging machine downtime, looking up part #s for equipment repairs. I always feel like I am walking thru the plant with a crystal vase as I am afraid someone is going to bump me or I will brush against a machine and watch my axim hit the concrete.

Exocet One Case

The Exocet case won't work with the Axim.

This is the email I had received back for the company:

Thanks for your interest in our product.

No the Exocet One will not work for the Dell Axim. I will have some new cases up on the site by Monday, that will work for the Axim, please check the site again on Monday.

If you have any further questions feel free to let me know,

Best Regards

It looks like they just posted one new case: the Trav Sport. And they've got pictures of it with a Dell Axim.

http://www.infusionthreads.com/html/trav_sport.html

This may be a very smart case. It flips to the bottom and has a Velcro beltloop, stylus holder, and full access to side controls. As well, you can pop the Axim out quickly to sync. Only downside I can see from the pictures is that you can't use it with something sticking out of the CF slot.

Wrist Sport

My wrist sport is shipping tomorrow. I will post a review once I get it as I'm really exited about it. It was exactly what I wanted in a case. Wish someone would have made one for my Jornoada 720
