Where do i get a new backup battery and what are they called? Watch batteries? Thanks!

You can get them pretty much anywhere: Walmart, Target, Office Max, Radio Shack, etc. They are button batteries, and the type you need is the CR2032.

So does Radio Shack and posible local grocery stores for $2.99. It's pretty much sold anywhere they sell batteries.

It occurd to me just now........I know where to get the back-up battery, but I have no clue when to get one. Is there a warning for the back-up just like there is for the main battery or do I just have to keep checking the meter??? Just something I thought about.

Hey chameleo78,

I think your Axim will warn you when you are low on your backup battery. I remember my Axim warned me of that when I intentionally took out my backup battery while keeping my main battery attached.

It will give you a warning that say's something like "your backup battery is low, replace or you might lose information"
