Today I received my new Infusion threads "Trav Sport II". I must say I am very very pleased. You should check it out. I can use my Axim while still in it's holster on my hip, rotate it 180 degrees to view in lanscape , and then if I want quick removal from my hip, done. And, I have spoke to them on the phone a couple times. They are awesome to talk to and encourage feedback. They even did mine in a custom color instead of the stock black. You can even manage to move it out of the way and sit it in it's sync cradle w/the holster attached.

Do you think it work well with a wifi card left in the CF slot of the Axim?

Probably not. There is a plastic tab that goes over the cf slot to secure the unit. There is some room between it and the Axim but probably not enough.

This looks liek a good case. I have been searching for a case and just can't decide. I plan on getting a Bluetooth card. I have been doing some reseach and I have determined that it will stick out a half inch above the top of the Axim. I have a few questions:

1. Will I still be able to use the case with the card in?
2. If not is it ez to take the Axim out of the case sleeve so I can use the card (I don't plan on using the card a whole lot so not having it in all the time won't be a big problem?)
3. What if I put the Axim in the sleeve upside down so the plastic bit was at the bottom of the case? I guess the would defeat the purpose of it being there then.
4. What if I didn't use the plasic bit...is there a danger of the Axim coming out of the sleeve?

1. You will prob not have enough clearance to leave the cf card in. Only about 1/4 in or so gap.
2.Very easy to remove the unit from the case. You can even swivel the unit 180 and sync. it w/cradle while still in the holster.
3.You could put it in upside down but it might not fit as good. It's design is kinda tapered to allow receipt of the unit and goes along w/the dimension of the Axim.
4.The plastic piece uses velcro so yes, you could just not use it and tuck it behind. I don't feel the unit would slip out but one important feature of that plastic is that if the case gets ripped open it won't fall out. It does however fit snuggly inside the holder so you would probably be okay. That would be something you could try once you received the unit. The guys at Infusion Threads would prob. answer any of these questions in detail if you called them. Very friendly and not afraid to answer any of your questions. One thing Darren kept saying to me "my cases are made for protection first". Give em' a call. You would be surpirsed.

Thanks for the info. I'm still undecided. I am leaning toward the Slip Sport, for simplisity sake.
