PCMCIA card to CF slot Adapter

Anyone used a PCMCIA card to CF slot adapter for the Axim? I have some PCMCIA cards about and wondering if I could use them on the Axim with this adapter.
Thanks

adapter

Hello,

I use the CF to PC Card adapter that allows the PC card to be flipped to the back of the Axim. It works well with my Toshiba 2GB PC Card Hard Drive.

Thanks, guess I'll buy one and try it out when I get my Axim. I've got an Orinoco Gold PCMCIA card, 3Com ethernet PCMCIA card, and two 128MB PCMCIA cards. It would be very nice to be able to swap these from my laptop to the Axim. I know at some point I will buy some CF equipment. But at the start of it all, I would like to save a few bucks.

Here's the link to the adaptor I'm using. There's also a compatibility list of PC Cards at the site:

Thank you very very much for the link.
The two cards I was really wondering about are there. The Orinoco Gold WiFi card and the Xircom CreditCard 10/100+Modem56.
To only have to spend 30 bucks to get these PCMCIA cards to work on my Axim is a BIG sigh of relief.
Plus my two 128MB Flashdisk cards will work as well.

What about drivers? Do Windows drivers for PCMCIA cards work well on PocketPC? Or is there a special driver you have to use with PCMCIA cards?

Um this looks quite a bit cheaper at $16.40. I think it looks like the same product too. :)

If you put it in your cart you can select another one for $12.95!

Hmm..looks like I need to do a bit of shopping.

Edit: Bah, it only works if you order the first one for $16.40. So you have to buy 2. At least I found a cheap AGP card for my server.

centrifuge41, if you look on the sesmons website above and check out the compatability chart, it will show you if and what drivers you need.

Have you had any difficulties with not enough power being supplied to the cards by the ppc?
