Your suggestions for storing your CF wifi card when not in use?

Any suggestions that you have would be great. What do you put your CF wifi card in, when it is not in the unit itself? My case wont allow it to remain and it didnt come in a case. Figured that you experts that are always so helpful with great ideas, would have come up with something. (not sarcastic, serious)

Thanks.

For any auxillary goodies I carry around like that (memory cards, batteries, etc.) I just keep a ziplock bag (sandwich or snack size) in my carry-around bag. It's a cheap solution and keeps all the little electronic items safe and dry.

Thanks CB but I was thinking more along the line of a case. My SD cards (1bg, 2bg, and 128mb) came with cases that I put them in to protect them. I put THOSE into a zip-lock myself, but wanted something for bump protection I guess it what I should have asked.

I have an x5 and I keep my wifi card and two memory cards in the little pocket inside the dell leather case that came with it. I have the aluminum case on the ax but it still fits in the leather case with the aluminum one on. Of course its too bulky to stick in your shirt or pants pocket with the leather case on it too but I dont carry mine in my pocket any way might drop it or crush it and that would be bad.

I have a CF GPS card which didn't come with a case. I just took an old CF memory card case and cut the side off so I can slip the gps card into it. This protects the delicate end of the unit at least.

Samsonite camera bag

I keep all my accessories in a Samsonite camera bag that you can easily find at Wal-mart. It black nylon with padding and several zipper closures, and a luggage-type clasp for the flap front cover. The forward flap area is just big enough for my Dell keyboard to slide in, and the main 'camera' pouch easily holds my Linksys WiFi card, my Pretec modem card, my Sony ear buds (in one of those disk cases), my spare charger, my sync cable, and phone cord. You can get even smaller ones (for those teenie micro cameras) if you don't need all that space.

Altoids tin is also what I use. I keep a glasses lense cleaning cloth in there with my extra battery to help keep it from clanging around.
