Question How to disable keyboard?

I'm using the virtual keyboard to input text.
It's mostly problem-free and I like using it.

However, one annoying thing occurs when I'm browsing websites. For example if I go to Yahoo or MSN.com the websites make the cursor appear in the main text field of the page. When this happens, the keyboard appears and takes up half of the remaining screen. It happens almost everytime I go to a page with an entry field or when I refresh - very annoying!

Does anybody know a way to disable the virtual keyboard?
Also while I'm here, how do you take screenshots of the Today page???

TIA

For the keybaord you can try the free ZeNokeyboard. Make it your input panel choice when you open PIE and nothing will pop up when PIE tries to open the input panel.
