It's a scaled down version of Word, but more features than notepad.

(ie; text formatting)

WordPad

I suppose WordPad might be the closest in terms of functionality, although Pocket Word actually supports the DOC format.

Other than that, the two are fairly close.

Depends on if you think you'd use it. If so, you'll have to chose between a thumb pad and a full keyboard....

how fast is your typing speed? that might affcet which one to get... poeple can get pretty fast on thumboards... about half their normal typing speed.

There are a few options for you:

http://www.fitaly.com -- a fully customizable ergonomically optimal tap keyboard, I can type about ~45 with this, I can type about ~110 with a foldable, I hvaen't actually used a thumboard, but it is pretty similar to FITALY in terms of speeds I believe

Pocket Wrod is basically a rich-text editor, with a few extra features like zoom, drawings, and support for Rich Ink and Audio embedding.

It also support paragraph indenting (enter a value for first line, hanging, and left and right indent) It also has basic list functionality.

However, if you want a word processor with about Word 95 or 97 functionality, customizable hotkeys, customizable toolbars, full text maniupulation a million and one ways, and losless integration with even the most advanced docs, http://www.softmaker.com, get Text Maker.
