Software made for other cpus(ARM,MIPS and SP3)

Will software made for these other procs work for the Xscale? I have seen a lot of apps out there and its like some say made for PocketPC 2002 and then some give the specific processor they were made for. ANy advice on what I should download and use? Basically I want to know which one should I avoid and which is safe to use.

If it is made for PPC 2002, obviously that will work on the Axim, but programs made for StrongArm, or just Arm, it will work as well. The SH3 and MIPS won't work. They were used with the older PPC's. The Cassiopeia's used MIPS, and the Journada's used SH3.

Yes,smeg is right.

there is verrrrrry few software made for mips and sh3 that isnt also produce with a strong arm prosser.

But when i had me casio-em500,it sure was a pain to get software for it,thats why i got the axim.;)

You wouldnt belive it but I won mine as a competition for my first day at Dell!! So I love it all the more! I used to be a plam 7 user and hated every PPC user from jealousy of course lol

lol,when you use the ppc os it becomes a different story huh?
