axim crashed now i have nothing

my axim was trying to load a program, that required the vb libraries, so i got them from ms and installed, then relaunched the program, which seemed to take forever to load.
it loaded with an error, so i clicked ok. then the system totally went black like it was resetting, then all i got was the blue dell screen.

i had to do a hardreset to recover, and now all i have is a basic windows screen, with no apps or anything.

i apologize for my newbness, i havent had this thing more than 6months, and its never had a single problem.

do i have to reload ppc 2003? if so how, because active sync wont work now.

Make sure to back-up ur ppc at least once or twice a month. I use the data backup app included with the ppc. Store the back-ups on a card, or in the bis if you dont have a card. A good backup file can save you a lot of hassle. Backup file is usually from about 10-20mb depending on how much progs u have installed, etc.

yeah i wish i would have had a backup. but thankfully most data was on my sd card or via activesync, the pain is having to reinstall all the apps, and redo all the settings
