Memory slider.

hi

i recently got my axim, which im very happy with apart from one thing.

whenever i try and move the memory slider to have slightly more memory for storage, it either pops back straight away, or stays where i set it, but when i try to put files in the extra space, it says not enough space and when i check back it has popped straight back.

am i doing something wrong?

thanks

You can adjust it, but it will automatically readjust itself so it can continue to run. Since the storage memory is on the RAM, the OS will only let you temporarily adjust the memory because it need a certain amount to maintain the system and programs you may need to run. If you only allowed 1 MB for Program memory, you couldn't run any programs, so you can't adjust it permanently.
