infrared remote for Axim

Hello,

We're a software company producing GPS and custom applications for PocketPC based devices.

Recently we have released an infrared remote control application named VITO Remote, it can be found here: http://www.vito-tech.com/products/?prod_id=10

We received Dell Axim users feedback saying that VITO Remote works incorrectly with this device or sometimes doesn't work at all. Since we haven't got this device yet I would like to ask you to assist us in resolving this problem.

Most active will get a free copy of this or another VITO's product.

TV Remote Controller 5.0 from PDAWin works fine with my Dell Axim. The range is not the greatest but I hear that is pretty much standard with alot of other pocketpcs. Although, my old @migo Pocketpc had the best ir range, i got about 20-25 feet with that one, only getting about 4 feet with my Dell.

Ah well, I didn't pay $375 to use it as a remote controller. :)

Please contact the site admin in regards to your software. He has been working with other vendors (like yourself) to obtain copies, and then test software on the Axim. He probably would be your best point of contact in this case.
