Lovin my new Axim

I've had my Axim for about a week now (after having problems with my order from Dell and my shipping from FedSux)

and I am lovin it! I got the basic and it seems to run just like the advanced my friend has.

Does the IR port work well enough to be a TV remote?

The IR port is one of the Ax's short comings. It will work, but you can't be anymore than about 5 feet away. There is an IR extender that you can but that plugs into the CF slot and it's supposed to increase the range.
