Fun with IRDA?
We have to X-5's. What can we share? Any game recommendations?
This may become really important, as we are going to Thailand - and the flight time is 19 hours. I know - bring the batter back-up!

Scrabble, huh? That should be frustrating - as my wife is practicing her English, and I'm beginning to learn Thai!
Yes, I was rather hoping for some games that we could play against each other. The IRDA may not be the best solution. Maybe we should network?
Ideas? Game sugestions?

IRDA would be a pain in the patootie, I think, because you have to have the units facing each other. So you'll have to sit sideways in your seats.
And I doubt the airline will let you network; either BlueTooth or WiFi. Most of them frown upon transmitting any signal.
I'd just get some games that you both like, or some movies on an SD card...

BTW, I could be wrong on the needing to face each other thing. I just know that my X50v signals to my laptop when I'm right in front of it. Any sort of angle, and it's cut-out.

I've used PDAwin for several years and love it! I also use the UltraMote EXTENDER, and highly recommend it. The range is GREAT! It can be a lot of fun too! :approve:
