I had a Sony CLIE before my Axim. I loved the aluminum case I had for it. I hope that someone makes a case soon for it. My Axim fits in my shirt pocket by itself. Its a pain in the Dell supplied case since I have to take it out to use it.
I just want a cover over the screen more than anything else. Flip and play with holes for acess to maybe the speaker, IRD, etc for while still in the case.
We are actually taking orders now for our Axim flip-covers. For the next week we are offering a promotion code: DELLCOVER-UP with a $2 discount. Many people have found that this is a good solution if you want to keep your PDA small and pocket-able, but protect the screen and prevent accidental button pressing. While not for everyone, it certainly is good to have options.

From a review on their site:
"Application was easy enough. The Pocket Armor uses a hinge system to flip the cover up and out of the way, ala Star Trek style. Those that have used the flip cover of a Sony Clie, will be familiar with this. On the back side of the unit is where the connection is made between the Pocket Armor and your PDA. It comes with some industrial strength velcro, making the cover removable should you choose."
I have no clue as to wifi cards and such. That's my question too...

I know what you mean. However, I suppose we should give them 24 hours to respond to our questions.
I also think that vendors of products should be somewhat restricted in the forums. Although I do enjoy exposure to practical products and the ability to have specific product questions answered prior to a purchase, I would not want to see this excellent forum become a vendor-extravaganza flea-market type of forum. So far, it isn't out of hand.
I was especially glad to see this vendor's username the actual name of the company. This way we know it is a vendor, and not someone posing as a user satisfied with the product.

Thanks Forge, I couldn't go to that site at work... prying eyes get me in trouble...
So basically it connects via velcro? And then I can only assume that any type of CF card that protrudes from the device will cause it not to close..
It was not my intention to turn this discussion into an advertisement. I only wanted to add something that I thought was relevent. I will happily answer any questions directed toward us via email: customersupport@thepocketsolution.com. We have a Technology page with limited Flash to illustrate how the unit attaches. Also, here is the link to a review of our Toshiba e740 review: http://pdajunkie.net/mikesflipcover.htm. We will be shipping in the first week of February. I apologize if our posting offended anyone. I just found this site this morning and thought I would put in my two cents.
