Just bought a Second Hand X5 - How does it look? Can I insure it?

Hey Guys,

I bought this exact item for £180 inc P+P, and was just thinking whether I got myself a good deal?

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...MEWA%3AIT&rd=1

Also, As it is second hand, Is there anyway that I can take out an insurance plan with Dell or anything?

Regards.

The x5 was probably the best pda I've ever owned. My progression was compaq aero, ipaq 3850, x5, x30h, x51v. Out of all of those, I prefer the shape and feel of the x5. The controls are perfect for playing games as well.

Looks like you got a good buy. I also bought mine off of Ebay and am very pleased with it. I did make sure there were no scratches on the screen before I bought. I have had it for almost a year now with no problems.

Congrats

In the states, you can usually insure things like that very inexpensively with a rider on your homeowners insurance. I insured my laptop for about $50 a year. Contact your insurance agent and find out what options you have.

Congratulation on your purchase. And welcome to the x5 family.
Nice to see there are still users of this model.

Look into the online companies that insure cell phones. They also offer policies on hand helds no matter when or how you bought it.
