Upgraded to A03....problems!

I upgraded to AO3 and restored it with my 128mb CF card. Even though the back up failed twice at 99%, everything is there and functional except for 2 things.

1) My Outlook in-box wont sync up. On the welcome screen it shows my mail box as "IPM.Root" Nothing comes up, even though it shows a bunch of folders in my outlook "tree." What is this?

2)My WMP ver8.5 was there for a couple of hours, but for some reason it is gone. I have not upgraded my activesync from the OEM box. Even .wma files show as not recognized. How can I get this back?

I'm not going to be much help here however, did you perform a backup to "ActiveSync" as per Dell's instructions? I performed the upgrade on three 400 Mhz units without a problem, but I restored from ActiveSync. It seems that some people who were having problems with the upgrade also restored from CF/SD cards (others had no problems restoring from their cards?). If the ROM upgrade went okay and it is strickly a restore problem you are experiencing, try a hard reset and restore from ActiveSync instead (providing you made a backup). Good luck.

Dont know about the Outlook issue, but for WMP its pretty easy. If the exe is still there (find it through Explorer), then its only a matter of file association (which you obviously have lost due to this problem). You can either restore the file association with PocketTweak, or you can reinstall WMP.......easy as pie ;)
