My new axim is charging.. got a few Q's..

Got it from voltdepot.com in 300mhz flavour, since dell's pricing is ridiculous. Total $175 USD. Overnight shipping for $6 is not bad at all as well

As it charges.. i am wondering.. what is the most useful thing you picked up for your axim?

I am thinking of getting a hard case, and a 512 CF card. Using it for school, hopefully it will be excellent. Maybe get a wificard as well.

GrinderGear Basecamp. I can carry the thing everywhere, I don't have a wallet & my phone & replacement stylus (the built in stylus stinks on toast) in the webbing in front.

Having the Ax with me everywhere is what turns it into a useful tool (taking notes, booking meetings, looking up phone numbers, in general using it for business).

Yeah, I got a Innopocket hard case because I prefer to carry my Ax in my front pocket for easy access. I also got a 512 CF card for videos, music, files, applications, and everything else I can think of putting in there. I would also suggest finding some good downloads to put on there, like games and any applications you may be interesting in getting. Also, I can't stress this enough, screen protector! Some people don't like them, including me until I tried out the Brando and Boxwave. Now I can't imagine using my Ax with the glare on the screen, among other advantages of the protector.

Overall, the most important thing in my opinion is the case. Get a different case. I don't know how anyone can use the included case. I ordered a different one weeks before my Ax even arrived (I ordered through my school, and it took TWO MONTHS to get here. Big mistake)

As for the Dell stylus, I rather like it. I think it has a good solid feel to it, and the fact that it isn't round makes it easier to use in my opinion.

One of my favorite things so far is a program called Journal Bar. It puts a scrolling thing on your today screen, updates when you synch, shows 5 day weather, news, sports, etc all bunch of webpages cached with alot of weather info.

Also, download magic button, so you can close applications.
