Total Lock-up. Please Help!!!

My x5 has totally locked up at the Dell screen( the one you see after soft reset) I can't turn on or off removed and replaced Main battery nothing helps. Any Ideas?

Here's something that works for me...

Slowly lift off your screen protector, but don't remove it totally. Lay it back down without applying any pressure. Now do a soft reset. It might release the screen.

I was actually online to see if anyone has had a "static" problem with their x5. I can't figure it out. Same area of my screen (no blemishes, holes or dirt) will cause a lock up of my ax, but doing the above suggested screen protector thingy, it works again. I've taken the thing apart a few times and cleaned it; the electrical tape fix has been done. Any ideas?
