Sync port

Just curious because I like to see what all I can do with this gadget. Does anyone know, or has anyone tried to see if you can do anything else with the port that goes into the cradle.
I'm assuming it's essentially USB, anything usefull (other than syncing) you can do with this port?

This port is mostly for syncing and charging. Some people have rigged up devices with 9volt batteries, other chargers, and stuff that use this port. The axim doesn't have enough power to power usb devices, so that takes most of the fun out of using the port for special stuff.
