my screen cracked..pics

i went to use my axe today and there was a small crack in the upper right corner....withen a few min it had spread....im not overly happy about this at the moment.....

Worried

mine had the same thing (did't want to make pics it just makes me sad but i did get a new one from dell in 2! days (i am a police officer and used my work to call and let it pick up and bring

i hope this is of some use i know what ure going true


but i did learn something buy a hard case :D

i just got off the phone with dell and they said they will not replace it.

just say ask for a replaxment the have to give it they did it to me (ime the police guy)
the even asked me to press the screen to see what happend (what did u expects it cracked wide open so they said stop i'll sens a new one to you and here i am with my new ax :D

Dell won't replace a screen if it was your own fault. They have already logged that he has a broken screen so calling again won't help.

And let me just say trying to scam another Axim out of Dell is wrong and any posts telling anyone to do so will be deleted by me.

Yeah, I say give Dell another try... If someone tells you no, call back and talk to someone else... If they tell you no too, start getting angry on the phone and ask to speak to their supervisor... There's no excuse for a screen cracking... I'm horribly upset with Dell's quality control on these Axims... I'm on my 6th replacement right now if that tells you anything... Just keep trying until you get a replacement.

That wasn't directed at you. I left your message stand. I am heading off the conversation so it doesn't go where I think it is. We had a thread like this a couple months ago and I won't let it happen again.

Call Dell, complain, ask for a supervisor, but don't deceive Dell about what happened or ask others to do so.

i just emailed the rep i bought it through, he seems supprised that they did not replace it....now im cought in the middle...if i broke the thing myself ide understand, but i honestly dont know how it happined, and after just posting about the new case i got...talk about a kick in the nadds...
