Though you can't connect to XP Home. You need Pro.

You need to turn on Remote Access in Pro. Home doesn't do authentication, so you can't do Term Services.

I've seen many people burned by XP Home. The main difference between home vs pro is that Home doesn't support multiple processors and Microsoft crippled the networking capabilites on Home. I've had many of my users come to me when they are purchasing a new computer and I explain the difference between home and pro and they opt for the home version of XP only to come to me later wanting to connect to our VPN server. Thats when I bring up the bad news to them.

I say always go with XP Pro. :)

Thanks, for the replies I tried to search for XP home and came up empty handed, looks like I'll have to go out and buy the PRO version.
