My x5 is re-setting itself daily! Help!

Greetings,

For a few days in a row, when I power on my Axim x5 in the morning, it asks me to calibrate the screen and go through all the initial set-up. It thinks that the year is 2003 and all is as my system was when shipped to me back in 2003.

Thank goodness for Sprite backup, or I would be in a nightmere.

As much as this isn't as bad as it could be, it takes a while to do everything to get it back to normal, and I loose the last connection with either the work pc or the home pc, depending on which one I recently synched to.

Anyone else having this problem?
Any ideas?

Depending on how you treated it, your main battery may be at the end of its useful life. The easiest solution to this specific problem would be to leave the Axim plugged into the wall outlet overnight. This actually is a good practice to follow for the health of Li-ion batteries so you may want to continue doing this after/if you replace the battery.

Thanks for the idea. I'll give it a try. I am on the original battery, so it makes sense. The battery indicator continually shows at least a 75% charge (even after it has wiped and reset), but I know that is not necessarily accurate.
