Worried A00 to A03 concerns

is it worth it? i have read around the forums and it looks like people can tell a difference but it can also screw things up, like having to hard reset. Any experiences with this?

People screw things up because they don't properly do what dell says.

Make sure you don't tuch anything on the axim or computer during rom update.

It worked smooth for me....;)

Also, I think you may need to upgrade to A02 first before you upgrade to A03. I think I remember reading on the Dell site that the A03 ROM upgrade was only for units with A02 ROM. I could be wrong though...

No like I said, he's wrong!

you don't have to get to a02 to upgrade to a03!!!

Go ahead and upgrade to a03 in one step manoosie, I think it's worth it but I can't live without having the newest version............

Yea, I just double-checked and I guess I'm wrong.

Mine had A02 already installed when I got it (replacement). Upgraded to A03 with no problems. Haven't noticed a difference, but it's always nice to have the newest version!
