Has anyone not received their order confirmation within the "1 business day" as stated by Dell? I placed an order last night at 5:30ish PM and still haven't received my order confirmation (I did get the order acknowledgment email). When I placed my first order last Monday I had a confirmation email within 45 mins. Should I be concerned?

I didn't get my confirmation email for 3 days after I ordered. If you are concerned, call Dell and tell them you got one over the phone, give it to them, and they should be able to email you the confirmation email in a few hours.

I placed my order at 9pm (MST) on Thursday and *still* have not received an order confirmation. I called Dell yesterday, and they said the order was in the system, and I'd been assigned a customer number but not an order number. They said to wait another 24 hours. yay.
followup: Just got my confirmation email. Estimated ship date 2/7. Yay! :D

I ordered mine at 8pm on Friday night, I figured since they might have a long weekend it wouldn't come until today. But its now Tuesday and I still don't have a confirmation email. I guess I should call theml, but my 'order acknowledgement' doesn't seem to have any specific number I can reference? It sounds like calling them is what you have to do to get them to push it forward?

I ordered my Axim using Next Day Air and I got it 1 week later, [sarcasm] that's awesome [/sarcasm].

NEW UPDATE - To make a long story short, I waited 3 days, talked to 8 different individuals, sent 2 emails and spent approximately 6.5 total hours on the phone before I received my order confirmation. The last rep (who finally gave me the confirmation #) told me the reason why I hadn't recieved confirmation was because the pricing I received was wrong (I snuck in on the $40 discount B4 they noticed the mistake). The rep had to get approval from his supervisor to issue my confirmation. I got the better price but I had to start all over in the delivery que (vs my original order on 1/10/03). I'm cheap so I'll wait. Hopefully the rest of you won't have to go through as much trouble.
Accessories are all here (BodyGlove Case, 2 in 1 stylus, xtra memory, screen protectors), now I just need my AXIM!!!

Update: I called in and told them I didn't get my order, the guy said "I bet you ordered an Axim" and said there was a problem with that discount where they put a bunch of orders on hold. He then said 'OK hang on just a second we'll honor that price' and proceded to hang up on me.
So I called back and got a different guy. He had no idea what I was talking about, but added the order in with the discounts I had. I even forwarded him my order acknowledgement email that had the itemized list of discounts. It took over 20 minutes but he put the order together with all the discounts and said the rebate would work. Then he sent it to his supervisor to approve the quote and I waited an even longer amount of time.
After a total of 30 minutes on the phone (+ 20 minutes on hold before that + 20 minutes wasted where they guy hung up on me before that) he comes back and says "Ok, with everything, that comes to $349".
I say "Uhh, thats what it is on the website right now"
he says "Hang on", then comes back a few minutes later and says "Yeah, $349 is what it comes to"
I say "So I guess what you're saying is you won't honor the price of the order I put in, or any of the discounts in it"
he says "Uhh yeah I guess"
so I told him I'll go buy somthing else and that was it. In the last 6 monhts I've bought 2 laptops and about $700 in other junk, and while their customer service is hell they always atleast took orders and shipped items (albeit very slowly).
I can't buy a product from a company like that, I'd just feel like a total moron for giving them money after being treated like that. I think I'll look for a deal on a Toshiba E740 or wait for the C0 PXA's to come out with writeback cache.

Update #2.. So even though the guy said the order was gone, and that there was no possibility I would suddently get charged, today I get a 'order confirmation'.. But its totally blank.. It just says
Important Order Information
----------------------------------
Your Dell customer # is:
Your order number is: ######
Your total amount for the order you placed is:
This includes:
Subtotal:
Shipping/Handling:
Sales Tax:
(The ####'s is an actual order number though). But no price or anything.
Anyways, I checked my acct and it appears I am getting an Axim 400mhz for the original price I put it in for, I have no idea what is up with their ordering systems.. I said I didn't want it but I guess I should just let it be and see if it ships ever. I won't be able to get anythign similar for how cheap I got this one for! ($235 no shipping no tax).
Its still annoying that they have no idea how their ordering system works. It seems like when you call, the CSR on the phone is just on the website the same way we access it.
Just one question, does this partslist look like the right stuff?
1 1 221-2016 AXIM X5,400MHZ,XS,3.5 QVGA,48/64 MB,ENG
1 1 310-2930 USB CRADLE,AXIM
1 1 900-9054 NO WARRANTY,YRS 2 AND 3,L1
1 1 950-3640 ADV EXCHANGE,PDA,INIT

Well to update my situation:
I called Dell and after a whopping 4 service personel and over 2 hours on hold (left it on speaker phone in my office) I spoke to someone in the Axim department. He said that there was a problem with the order and that their computer system would not automatically process it (probably because of the $65 in coupon codes that I had entered!) but he said that if I wouldn't mind waiting a few more minutes that he would enter it manually. Five mins later and my second Axim is on its way. It was worth the hassle and time spent considering
Total price I paid = $306
Items Ordered = 300mhz Dell Axim
USB Cradle
Dell Folding Keyboard
5 pack of CDRs to break the $300 mark
Oh and by the way, I get to send the rebate in as well making it a total after rebate of $256
Hell Yea!
