Recently, I downloaded the trial version of “Agenda Fusion” and right after I downloaded “Battery Pack” also. But it seems that Agenda Fusion and Battery Pack cannot live under same roof. Agenda Fusion just stops working.

Now is there any other software, similar or close to Battery Pack, which will jive with Agenda Fusion?

My second question is in regard to Outlook Calendar (MS Outlook). I have created categories in Ms Outlook Calendar to get a better view of my appointments. Consequently, I have created the same categories in my Pocket PC Calendar (Dell Axim X5). But I cannot view my appointments under categories in Pocket PC like in MS Outlook calendar. Am I missing here something or there is no category view in Pocket PC? Although, Pocket PC lets you create categories in Calendar but if one cannot view appointments under category view in Pocket PC then what’s the use of it?

I highly appreciate the assistance and advice.

Hmmm, I have the newest version of Agenda Fusion installed and also the newest version of Battery Pack 2002 and they work fine togeather. I'm sure you tried restarting it right? In any case you should just try installing agenda fusion again then battery pack again and see what happens, because they should work togeather.

What kinds of things happen that makes you think that they are conflicting?

Just to make it clear. I downloaded the trial versions for both the softwares. Secondly, while the Agenda Fusion was installed and later I downloaded the Battery Pack there was a pop up message from the Agenda Fusion. Unfortunately I do not remember the exact pop up but it was something to the fact that Agenda Fusion would not function. Could be due to the trial versions?

If you're looking for a program that gives you the status of your storage and on board memory, battery status to include your backup battery as well as a nice icon based program launcher with a built in task switcher that also lets you use a windows like start menu and helps you mange your Today backgrounds, then try Pocketfacelift. Go here for the program and some add ons: PocketFaceLift at Handango

Now, if Agenda doesn't get you up and going, then try Pocket Informant. Both programs are great programs, I just happen to like Pocket Informant. You'll also find many many folks who like Agenda. Best advice is to try both and see which one you like.

Outlook does not have appointment catagories, so you only have this feature in AF (Agenda Fusion). It's not so big a deal for me, as the PC has a bigger display for appointments.

I use AF all the time. In fact, I had Pocket Informant and switched. As RickFord said, it's all in what you like. You should really try both before spending your hard-earned.

I also agree with NMkiD, you should remove, then re-install both programs -- maybe in the other order. If nothing else, this would let you tell us the exact message AF is giving you. The trial version is the same as the real deal. You can also contact AF and see what they say. I have found them very responsive.

Here are a couple of other programs that let you see the battery. Gigabar takes over the top bar of your screen. It can do almost anything, include a real-time display of battery and memory. It's free, but a lot of people don't like it because it's pretty techy & takes a little time to figure out.

Another possibility is Dashboard (Snoopsoft.com). It's a Today screen replacement that includes several other features, including a battery display.

Maybe all you need is launcher.
It's questionable that some of this shell software can work together.
I have BatPac now, and Icbar, and I'm afraid to try PocketBlinds for fear of them-all getting into a fight.

Is that program running/residing in your program? It may be the cause of why you can't remove it. check you Memory-->running programs under your settings.
