Question Getting wireless and modem to work together

I'm having some newbie problems with my X5 and I thought that someone with a better understanding of the program processes may be able to help me out.

OVERVIEW

I have wired my home with a wired/wireless router to connect 5 computers to the internet through my DSL connection and also to upgrade the programs on my kids computer from mine. It works fine, I can also access files on any of the computers through File Explorer on my AXIM.

I have bought a wireless CF card for my AXIM, which I can link to the internet. It's working.

I have also bought a CF modem to use on the road to access dial up internet and to send and receive e-mail. I can't seem to get it to work in harmony with the other internet/email functions.

I have highstream.net as a dialup provider which gives me access numbers accross the U.S. (Good deal)

Highstream has a Login ID, a user name and of course a password. I have my SMTP and POP3 addresses but when I try to upload or download email NO GO.

THE PROBLEM

I can't find a way to EDIT my connections, mail box settings and dial up settings. Is this right? I can only erase them and enter the whole thing over?
One connection type always seems to replace the other and I've driven myself almost to distraction trying to get them all to work together.

When I try to configure them (Start/Settings/System/Connections)
I have a screen that shows:
When needed atomatically connect to The Internet sing these settings...
When needed automatically connect to Work using these settings...
My network card connects to...

WHAT DO I PUT WHERE?

I can get the individual functions to work (except email on my modem connection) but can't get them all to work together.
I would really appreciate if someone could unfuddle my thinking and set me straight...

BTW can I connect to AOL on my AXIM?

Thanks, Gordon Bowman-Jones.
